Faith beyond senses

Bible : John20: 24:29

Key verse: Hebrews 11:1

Good morning

I hope you'll thank the Lord for this new day and for being in His house.

By the grace of the Lord, we all saw 10 months with the great joy of the Lord, and I believe that God has increased your life. Have patience with faith because He will do even greater things in your life.

Believe that when His people are gathered here, He is also with them; He is also gathered with them.

When He is gathered with them, He wants to heal them, work in their lives, wipe their tears, and tell them the things from His heart.

I hope you came to church this morning with some expectations.

The Lord will do the same in your life with the hope with which you have come here today.

I also want to share with you what I shared in the fasting service this morning.

The Word of God is alive, and He speaks in new ways all the time, according to your personal faith.

Let us pray

We come before you God with grateful hearts, thankful for the opportunity to gather in your name. Lord, I prepare to share your word, I ask for your guidance and wisdom.

May my words reflect your truth and love, reaching the hearts of those who listen.

Lord, help is to open our minds and hearts to receive the message you have for us today

May your spirit move among us, bringing comfort, conviction, and encouragement.

Let us be united in purpose and filled with a desire to grow closer to you.

Thank you, lord, for the gift of your word.

May it inspire us to live out our faith in our daily lives.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen

The reality you have so far has come from our senses.

Whatever you are seeing or seeing in this world, all that reality comes from your senses.

What you can see, hear, feel, taste, and smell.

We were born in a body; therefore, we came to know the physical reality through our physical senses.

But the problem arises when we are born from the spirit.

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. (John 3:6)

But even after we are born in spirit, our reality remains physical.

We are born from the spirit.

We receive the Holy Spirit, we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we pray in tongue, but still, our reality is what our body/flesh is saying to us, or what our 5 senses are saying to us.

And in Romans 8:8, those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

Those who lead/follow senses cannot please God.

How do we live our lives? Through senses.

How do we know plane pass through you? By sound.

How do we know if there is too much salt in food? By taste.

Our reality comes from 5 senses, and we need senses to live on this earth, but we are in the spirit, and in spirituality, you cannot walk with the senses.

If you try to understand God and His kingdom through your senses, you will never be able to understand Him.

To understand God and his kingdom, we have been given another sense, and that is faith.

Faith is the sense by which you can see unseen things, you can hear unheard things, you can touch that is not even here.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Taking fast, walking 5 km, doing hard work, reading the Bible, praying every day, and doing this all without faith will never please God.

So there is only one way to please God, and that is faith.

And if you can understand faith, then you will be able to believe.

So what is faith? It is the sense given to us by God. It is the sense of our spirit.

Faith is not physical, but faith is spiritual because God has given us the spirit of faith, which comes through spirit.

How many have seen Jesus cross?

How many of you have seen Jesus resurrected?

How many of you believe your name in the Book of life? Did you read it? No, but you believe in it.

So our salvation also comes by believing in someone we have not seen.

Many Christians get salvation, but later again they start to walk in a physical way; they start to live according to their senses.

John 20:24.Now Thomas also known as Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came.

25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”

27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

This is the picture of unbeliever.

Unbelief is when you want to see God with your five senses.

Thomas says I won't believe it until I see.

For this, the Lord says this is a matter of unbeliever.

Stop doubting but believe, because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.

Vo kahta hai dikha dega to maan jaunga, lekin prabhu kahta hai maan ja to dikha dunga.

Will you agree with me if I say here is the guitar, here is a table, here is the book? You agree with me because you are able to see through your eyes.

But do you believe there is a holy spirit? yes,

how?  Through the sense of your faith.

This faith goes back and brings within you the assurance that Lord Jesus went to the cross; it gives you proof that Lord Jesus went to the cross; it gives you proof that He was raised on the third day.

In the present time, Satan uses our five senses against our faith.

What he said to Eve, Look at that fruit.

The Bible number 13 tells us a story.

And the Bible tells us that the Lord already told Israel that I have given you the land of Canaan.

Therefore, God's reality and our reality are different, and if you want Him to be with you, then God wants you to bring your reality under God's reality.

So, the Bible says Moses chose 12 spies, including Caleb and Joshua, and he was sent to the Promised Land so that they could back the report and give the report to the people of Israel and Moses.

These people stayed there for 40 days and saw everything, and when they came back, 10 of them told the evil report and came back with a wicked report, and the Lord was not happy with them.

However, there was no abuse in that report; there was no bad news.

But even then, that report was bad in the eyes of God because their report was on their senses.

They said that those people are like giants, and we are like grasshoppers in front of them. They forgot what the Lord had said, but they started moving through their senses and started seeing through their senses only.

So when they come back, they come with an evil report, and the Bible says that the Lord was not pleased.

But two more spies gave good reports.

They said, What is this giant? We should go up now and take possession of that land because God has already given it to us.

God has already given us it, but if we need it, we need to take it from Him.

The Lord has already healed us in His reality, but still, if we are asking, When will the Lord heal me? then we are moving through the senses; we are moving through the knowledge of our senses. That kind of unbeliever does not please God.

God has already done it for us, but still, we are trying to convince him, but we need to convince our heart because it does not believe.

When those spies went and gave the evil report, all of Israel believed it.

Every materialistic person believes in a negative report more than a positive report.

Many times we depend on our knowledge of senses, but the Lord says that those who accept his report and his mighty power are revealed/manifested in him.

If you want God's power to manifest in you, for it you have to accept that God says/God's word above then your knowledge of sense.

Either you are following your senses or you are following what is written in the word of God.

Many times we thought about fasting and that if I am hungry, the Lord will give me; that is not what fasting means.

In Matthew 4:4, Jesus said man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Fasting means that you understand that the foundation of your life is the Word of God.

We live by the word; bread strengthens our body, but the word of God strengthens our faith, and the Lord says that you cannot live by eating bread but you have to eat my word.

And if you believe in God and His words without knowledge of your senses, then God says you are blessed.

This is what the Lord said to Thomas, blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 says “For we live by faith, not by sight.

The biggest enemy of our faith is our five senses.

If someone is in the disease and he/she opens the book Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed. (Uske khode kahane se hum change ho chuke hai)

They speak through their mouths, but inside there is a battle going on between sense and faith, and only one to whom they listen will win.

If you went to the hospital and the doctor gave you some negative report that you have only a few days, but there is also a report of a lord who says that by his wounds you have been healed.

Both reports are opposite, and the doctor sees your report through a microscope, through his eye sense.

But there is another dimension above this dimension that can change things here because the report of God’s dimension says that when you were not even born, I was whipped for you, and by his wounds, you have been healed.

And now it depends on you whether you believe what the best doctor of Delhi is saying or what God is saying.

At all times we have a choice whether we will believe what our senses are saying or what God's Word is saying.

Therefore, the Bible says, “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the spirit is life and peace (Romans 8:6).

Many times we measure to God through our senses; if I will heal, then I will believe; if I will be free from fever, then I will believe; but God says to accept it that you have healed and you will heal.

When Jesus was on the cross, many people said if you are the son of God, then come down from this cross. He did not say anything to them.

But there was one criminal side to him; he did not have any proof that he was the king and son of God, but through a sense of faith, he understood that he was not a normal person, but he was God, and he said, God, when you go in your kingdom, do not forget me, and then Jesus said to him today that you will be with me in heaven.

What he did do? He just believed that Jesus was God.

But even after knowing the word of God, Satan brings such situations into our lives.

If you are saying that I am healed by the wounds of God, but then you feel pain somewhere, then your sense will tell you that are you healed?, but the Word of God says that even at that time, you should remain stuck in the faith.

Do not change the confessions of your mouth through a sense of knowledge, but continue to confess them with your sense of faith.

In Hebrews 6:12, we do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who, through faith and patience, inherit what has been promised.

If you have accepted the word of the Lord, do not change your mouth's confession until that word is fulfilled.

2 Corinthians 4:13 it is written, I believed therefore I have spoken, since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak.

let your body not tell you whether you are healed or not, but let you have to tell your body that you are healed.

Because it is written,  we live by faith, not by sight (2 Cor 5:7).

We do not live according to our senses but by faith.

How does faith come?

Through the word of God.

And for that, I will have to come to that place in my life where what the Word of God says is my reality.

Whether my eyes can see it now or not, I can touch him or not.

But when I become one with Him in faith, those things begin to appear in my life.

We do not follow what we see but believe; this is what Abraham did; he became an example of faith.

Abraham placed faith above his senses of knowledge; therefore, he became the father of faith.

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. (Romans 4:19)

He was completely dead to what the Lord was saying to him. The Lord told him that I would make you the father of the nation; he was 100 years old.

If he had asked his body whether I could become a father, he would have said that you cannot, but he did not ask his body.

Do not accept what the Lord is saying to you through your senses, but God wants us to accept it through the senses of our faith.

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God (Romans 4:20)

When God promises you something, you go home, but nothing happens, and Satan puts doubt in you.

Still keep your focus on God and confess with your mouth that Lord, you are true, your promise is true, Jesus, you have said that earth and heaven will be destroyed, but not even a single point of the word coming from your mouth will be destroyed.

You have said, Lord, and I believe it.

In the present era, everywhere is bad news. But at this time, you can be like the people of Israel who responded to bad news or like Joshua and Caleb who believed in the word of God.

Doubt is a choice, just as believing is a choice.

You have a choice: to move with sense or to move with faith.

If you move with faith, then you do not have any physical evidence, because faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Dear brothers and sisters

Today, when you are growing, please grow in your faith. And confess more of God's word with your mouth. Do not let your senses grow, but always confess that it is written that by his wounds I am healed.

When you are in Christ and how great a life you live for him, that depends on you. You can live a normal life in him, or you can live a great life (historical life).

Abraham was not shaken by the Lord’s promise, but he remained stable, knowing that the one who had made the promise was faithful.

Our senses are not trustworthy for those who start crying after watching the movie because they do not know what is true and lie.

But Jesus said in John, sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

Our fight is between God's word and our senses. Therefore, God says to fight with good faith.

It is your individual faith fight.

Your senses and your faith are fighting. Your senses are saying nothing is happening, but your faith says it has happened. Hold on, be patient, don't change the confession, but keep confessing with your faith. What to confess is written by his wounds: I am healed.

May the Lord bless you and help you confess more with faith.

Amen.
